The pub offers a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out the thoughtfully-curated list of local craft beers and wine. As one of Englefield Green’s oldest public houses dating back to 1780 we are blessed with an idyllic location right next to the Bishopsgate entrance of Windsor Great Park and a short distance from Guards Polo Club.We serve delicious home cooked food using fresh seasonal produce all day every day from breakfast with fresh coffee at 9am through to lunch and dinner in our restaurant or bar food in our bar. At the weekends we serve wonderful Sunday roasts with all the trimmings and when the weather is fine there’s an epic BBQ in our beautiful terraced front garden from 12 noon until the sun goes down.
The founder is a mother of three who was looking for places locally to have a nice coffee and some lovely brunch whilst my older children were at school and I had the little one with me.Locally there wasn’t anything except for the coffee shop chains who didn’t offer proper meals during those core school hours where you want to be able to have enough time to enjoy your meal but also get out by 2pm on time for the school run. There are plenty of places for lunch that open from 12 but women like the founder who maybe would like to meet a friend for a coffee and brunch there wasn’t anything.This is why I decided to start Nashtaa. Where we can all go have a lovely cup of tea or coffee, a nice brunch with a fusion twist and a homemade slice of cake to top it off! All in a beautiful Instagram worthy setting.
