Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. I loved this restaurant!! We went for brunch and the food, service and ambiance was outstanding!! We were seated quickly, our server Faith was everything our food came out quickly and the drinks were delicious and creative. The Asian fusion was not expected but exceptional , the sushi was so fresh and tasty. It was on the pricey side but it was worth it. Definitely recommend the chicken deviled eggs, 1123 cocktail, specialty sushi rolls!

From the point of arrival throughout the entire dining experience, everything was perfect! The House manager sat us promptly and offered complimentary champagne. The food was amazing, and our waitress was awesome- she was professional, knowledgeable, offered great recommendations, and was attentive throughout the evening. We tried 4 different appetizers and different entrees. Everyone enjoyed their food and the ambiance with music in the background made it a great experience! A $600+ bill- would gladly do it again! You definitely get what you pay for here.

Went on a slow, cold Sunday afternoon so it wasn’t not busy at all. For some reason, though, our server was difficult to find throughout our meal. Food/drinks were really good, & they had fun holiday themed drink decorations. Definitely bundle up though if you’re seated on the patio.

A limited but delicious menu. Full bar. Pleasant inside and outside. But, in the evening, you're going for the music, and it was great July 30--Gabe Koempel and combo.
