Claridge’s Restaurant has gently opened its art deco doors onto Davies Street, as it embarks on a new era in its long history. This classically inspired but contemporary British restaurant – which will fully open in September – is now operated in house by the hotel itself. It was previously known as Claridge’s Restaurant over 20 years ago.
Bombay Bustle is inspired by the tiffin tin carriers, the institution of men who use Mumbai’s famed local railway to deliver home cooked meals across the city. The Maddox Street restaurant pays homage to the culture and people, whose expanse of origins from across India have influenced its culinary history.The menu sees recreations of some of the city’s most loved dishes alongside family recipes. Seasonal delights, inspired by Mumbai and the surrounding areas, include Bambaiya Ragda topped with dry peas and honey yogurt , Pickling spice Lamb chop , Rarah Kheema Pao and a Jalebi Cheesecake with Bombay Cutting Chai .

Aline was created from a desire to share my family’s food traditions. My love for Lebanese food comes from my mother, Aline. A Passionate home cook, famous for gathering her friends and family around her long table placed in the heart of a bucolic garden we call “Le Jardin d’Aline”.
Meals have always been a way for her to teach my sisters and I about our Lebanese heritage. In summer we often enjoyed “Siyadiyeh”, a freshly caught sea bass served with a fisherman’s risotto native to Tyre, my mother’s hometown and in winter we would all gather in the kitchen eagerly waiting for the slow cooked lamb for her famous “Fatteh”.
Our dishes are a modern take on everyday Lebanese comfort food served in a cozy thirty seat restaurant in Mayfair . Our ingredients are responsibly sourced and prepared with care, with a menu that offers the best of Lebanese food in all its authenticity.
