The Bower Manly is a locally owned and operated business, with a passionate Northern Beaches based crew. We had always wanted to open a restaurant, but never imagined we’d find one in such a perfect location. Our key focus is providing good quality food using the freshest produce, and friendly staff to compliment the stunning yet relaxed setting of Cabbage Tree Bay. The menu changes on a regular basis, to reflect seasonal produce using both local and organic growers wherever possible - serving up coastal cool alfresco vibes. The Bower is a local's favourite, serving up some of the best coffee in Manly with arguably the best view of Shelly Beach. Join us in our newest addition at Pittwater - Glasshouse Grill. Our bespoke kitchen has 2 natural coal grills. The signature cast iron grill and the Josper grill, which was imported from Spain where Josper has mastered the art of cooking with coal and wood. We exclusively use Ebony Black Angus across our menu which is produced from carefully selected prime quality Black Angus cattle. Along with our decadent menu of fine selections, we also have a range of starters that are perfect to share, fresh pastas, pizzas and a range of classic meals. Our seasonal menu is bursting with flavour, our Chefs use fresh regional produce sourced as locally and organically as possible, selected for flavour and sustainability, prepared with minimum fuss so that their natural quality shines through...you’ll certainly be spoilt for choice.

Enjoyed a great lunch with our friends. Most had the scallop entre, we tried the famous sour dough bread to die for! For mains several had the prawn tagliatelle which was excellent and others had the pizza I tried a piece and thought it was best in the area! Wine and beer were moderatey priced. We sat outside to the sounds of Australian summer cicadas which was very cool and pleasant. We will be back as being able to walk from our home was an added bonus.
