The Sword Inn Hand is a 14th Century Free House with guest rooms nestled in the beautiful rural Hertfordshire village of Westmill, a mile south of the market town of Buntingford. Seasonal produce is delivered to us daily by our fantastic local suppliers, and we pride ourselves on serving delicious fine food and traditional ales. The Plough is a traditional village pub located in the beautiful setting of Great Chesterford which is situated on the glorious North Essex/South Cambridgeshire border. There has been a pub on this site for over 150 years serving the local communities and acting as an eating and drinking point for people visiting the local attractions including Newmarket, Saffron Walden and Duxford Air Museum. The current owners Samantha and Simon insist on the highest levels of hospitality where the food is freshly prepared, the drinks selection extensive and everyone is offered a warm and friendly welcome.
