I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. A place where you feel like a regular from your first visit. A place where you feel like a part of our family. A place you felt you've been before. A place that feels like home.... Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. From arrival we were greeted by the owner and seated at our table. Extremely friendly waiter person introduced herself and talked us through the menu. We did the set menu and can thoroughly recommend it. It gave us a really broad experience of the whole menu. The tacos are amazing. The lamb ribs were amazing. Could not fault any of the courses we ate - fantastic cocktails to enjoy with the meal.

Highly recommend Jimmy Rum for a relaxing and easy night out. Food is delicious with many tasty share plates. Lots of drink choices too. Definitely coming back with friends to enjoy this very cozy, funky, friendly (staff) local eatery.

Fantastic experience. Very inciteful in the best possible way. Had an early booking on a Sunday, which meant we had the tasting table to ourselves. Absolutely brilliant.
