Margaret is a neighbourhood restaurant at its core, but it’s also evolved into something more than that. It’s about comfort, generosity, and cosiness. At Margaret, we work with the best quality produce that Australia has to offer. Chef Neil Perry AM has spent years developing relationships with some of the best suppliers in the country. We are predominantly a seafood restaurant and are very fortunate to receive our seafood direct from our fishermen, caught sustainably and dry filleted here onsite at Margaret, so we can ensure that all that love and care our wonderful fisherman have taken is seen all the way through. The menu at Margaret is diverse and inspired by all the flavours that Neil has been collecting over his 45+ years in the industry. Margaret
Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu. It's also home to the famous Perry hamburger."It's just a place to get some really nice hospitality, chill out and enjoy your day," Neil Perry. Sandwiched between Baker Bleu and Margaret, the indoor dining area is cosy and comfortable, with marble-top tables and an open bar and kitchen.
Open 7 nights a week from 4th November. In partnership with Linden Pride of the renowned Dante, New York, Bobbie’s has the underground, free-spirited energy of a speakeasy with the refined, sophisticated flair of a Neil Perry institution. Located in the basement of 24 Bay St, Double Bay, the same Neville Gruzman-designed heritage building as Neil’s pan-Asian-fusion, Songbird, Bobbie’s was named for Linden’s grandfather, the legendary radio broadcaster Bob Rogers, who mingled with the likes of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones in their heyday. It's all about mid-century furnishings, plush velvet, live jazz, finger food and world-class cocktails. It’s about keeping things in the family: when Linden was 17, he was polishing glasses at Neil’s Rockpool restaurant. In a full-circle moment, they’ve come together to showcase their passion for produce-driven experiences. We keep a number of tables just for walk-ins, so if online bookings are full, we may still have tables available.

There’s cold beers, spritzy cocktails and plenty of juicy wines both natural + nostalgic. Join us inside, up at the counter or outside in one of our two courtyards. Share some plates and have some fun.We don't like to play favourites but you should DEFINITELY try the Hazelnut Muhammara (blitzed red pepper dip topped with a sprinkling of pomegranate, roast hazelnuts, coffee grinds and native honey). Pair it with one of our Jerusalem Bagels (baked like a baby sourdough [rather than boiled] and brushed with pomegranate molasses before it gets popped in the oven).
