The menu was quite limited but everything was produced to a high standard of presentation and flavour. The service staff were excellent and very friendly and the ambience of the dining area was very relaxing. When I advised them it was my partners birthday they made her a lovely birthday candle dish. The pricing policy was not cheap but was great value for money. While the menu is very similar pubs in the same Pickled Egg Group the ambience and quality of staff puts it head and shoulders above the rest. While the menu is unadventurous it does deliver good food at reasonable value.
