Water Wheel Tavern is an historic Bucks County landmark originally built in 1714 by John Dyer, an English Quaker. It existed for centuries as a water wheel driven grist mill, and later hosted both a post office and a general store. Terrain’s food was very good. My partner’s Frittata was a bit overdone but my pasta (mushroom:butternut squash) was excellent. The flower pot bread with house-made butter was wonderful. Fresh, tasty, creamy. Appetizer Fried Quinoa with the yogurt sauce was lovely. Our server Luci was such a kind soul; catered to our needs and was very engaging and attentive. The ambiance was serene, incorporated horticulture and very beautiful.

Great staff! We had a reservation through Open Table and were running late. We called the restaurant and they were more than accommodating. The food is always on point. Cocktails are still great, but I miss the Hat Trick drink. #bringitback …please!
