It was such a lovely experience and a wonderful way to spend the afternoon with my Mum x

Came to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday and the restaurant organised balloons and a card. Starters of mussels, prawns and garlic bread were delicious. When the mains arrived my daughter’s meal was cool, the staff immediately took this away and prepared the dish fresh and gave her a complimentary drink. These things happen and it was dealt with quickly and did not spoil the evening. Other mains of cod saltimbocca, slow cooked beef and steak Alfredo were delicious. Spritzes also recommend

It’s a very welcoming restaurant and bar with good food. We really liked our starters of goats cheese soufflé and crispy beef followed by squash gnocchi and beef n ale pie. Great shoestring fries too.

Lovely charming and quirky old building, Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff and the food that came out of Adam Jackson’s kitchen was amazing, from the very well thought out and incredibly executed 9 course tasting menu to the beautiful breakfast. I couldn’t fault anything. Also the chef’s counter where Adam and his chef’s plate up dishes and chat to you is a lovely personable idea

The Silva Bells has become our favourite place to eat when we visit Ripon, the food is always amazing as is the service & best of all they are dog friendly so our pet Bert can come too. Try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed
