Happy Endings is Broadbeach’s new Japanese-inspired izakaya hiding unsuspectingly above bustling laneway bar and sister venue, Fig + Frankies. While specialising in cocktails, Happy Endings also boasts a late-night snack menu, so you won’t go hungry. Start off with small Japanese-inspired nibbles like hibachi roasted corn and zangi chicken, yakitori and sashimi before moving on to the larger stars. Today's Persian cuisine traces its roots to ancient Persian ingredients and recipes.

    Been here many times and the food is always amazing. Staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and went out of their way to make my partner, who is a celiac, feel comfortable and confident the food was served in a celiac-friendly manner. Generous portions, perfectly grilled meats and savoury dips, Shiraz is our favourite place to eat on the Gold Coast.

    Down a little alleyway, Melbourne style, Fig and Frankies offers very good food at reasonable prices. Share plates, so we got to try many dishes. I wouldn't order the fries again. Though yummy, filled the belly. Cheerful staff. Stools a bit uncomfortable for the older backs. We will return.

    We were really impressed by Labart. I had heard mixed reviews from friends so walked in not expecting too much but was thankfully pleasantly surprised. We had the Valentine’s Day set menu and everything was absolutely delicious and good sized portions - not too small or too big. The ambiance and service was really good. The atmosphere is bustling but not overbearing. Had a really nice night
