Albert's is a neighbourhood wine bar nestled behind the heritage listed Kings Arcade in the leafy backstreets of Armadale. Our bar is named for the Australian artist, Albert Tucker who once resided in the area and more importantly depicted our beautiful 19th century building in his 1937 landscape.We offer an ever-changing list of exciting wines by authentic small batch producers from all over the world, along with many classic 'non-wine' drinking options. Don’t expect a traditional restaurant menu, our kitchen offers up a variety of smaller, seasonal plates that are designed to share.     4th time visiting always enjoy food. Service was slow due to volume of clients. The waitress forgot my wife's drink I asked the barman directly who served our drink. The main server was not happy with this and halfway through our drink came to our table and placed our bill on the table and walked away. We both thought this was rude as we had not asked for the bill. After challenging him he apologised. This however left a bad taste in our mouths and spoilt the end of our evening. Not sure if we'll return now.

    We booked a set, 3 course, Valentine’s Day dinner. It exceeded expectations. The recently renovated space, coupled with attentive wait staff and excellent food made it a truly memorable evening. The food is beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The $99 per head was, in my view, excellent value and included a red rose and complimentary sparkling wine. It is part of a gaming venue and the location is not to everyone’s taste but as a suburban venue it’s a great choice.
