The Water House Project is a modern British tasting menu experience in Bethnal Green, East London.Chef Gabriel Waterhouse opened The Water House Project with his wife, Patricia in Bethnal Green in Autumn 2021 aiming to bridge the gap between fine dining elegance and a more relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Here the team serve a seasonally evolving tasting menu which changes every three months. We rely on local, seasonal ingredients using these when at their best. We believe in using small amounts of ethically and sustainably reared meat and fish, and partnering with suppliers who share in our values. Darling’s is a fresh pasta eatery in East London. Overlooking Olympic Park, the eatery is a hidden gem in Fish Island where the industrial and creative spaces converge. Roman Road, Bow, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park are just a stroll away from your weekly treat of freshly made pasta and wine from independent producers. Egle Loit, a trained pasta chef, has previously popped up mostly around East and North London, creating a buzz with her pre-restaurant residency at Vestry House Museum in 2023.Founder of Darling’s cares dearly about the craft that fresh pasta making requires. “One can turn humble ingredients into abundance with skill,” shares the restaurateur. Darling’s is designed to be an open space to be shared between the guests and the team, therefore there are no barriers between the service area and the dining area. You’ll find yourself connecting by enjoying your meal at the shared table. Those, who like to hide away, can still do it at separate tables.

We created Rubedo to share our passion for natural wines and quality food. Our goal is to promote the hard work and the talent of people who treat nature with the utmost respect.Our wines and their grapes have never seen any mechanical nor chemical treatment. They are the direct expression of the soil, the climate, the tradition and the talent of the winemaker. As a result, these wines often come with no added sulphites: they will surprise, intrigue and exhilarate you with their energy.We take a similar approach in the kitchen. Our goal is to source unadulterated naturally grown ingredients. The style of our cooking is European bistro food and the menu is dictated by season and quality. Our chefs treat the ingredients with the same respect our winemakers treat their grapes and make their wines.We are proud of the Italian culinary heritage of many of us, and have sampled many old family recipes throughout the years: these will appear on the menu every now and then.
Working with seasonal British and Italian produce, each dish takes inspiration from traditional Italian flavours and methods, with a creative approach.
