Staff were very friendly. The food was excellent. Would happily eat here again.

An amazing experience. I proposed to my partner and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating they made it into the most memorable day for my fiancée and meeting Daniel Clifford was the cherry on the cake. The food was out of this world I can’t recommend Midsummer house enough.

2nd time only in a decade being here. Ambience and decor nice. Service was good and menu choices were fantastic but when the food arrived portions were poor and the charcuterie board was a real disappointment . Meat quality was fine but that was it, just meat and a few slices of bread butter and a couple of tiny morsels of pickled veg. I have had many a charcuterie board in many restaurants but none have been as limited as this one. Crème caramel was decent however and as I say service and ambience and decor were all good. Probably worth a second visit but food would need to be better to warrant any further visits

Food options have been better but still not much to choose from. Food needs improvement. Service is better than before. I usually had to wait a long time to get someone but it was easier to get attention.

The staff were very friendly and the service was superb. We had one of the specials as recommended by our server, and it was delicious (Japanese Chicken Chuka Tare). It was lovely and relaxed - and would highly recommend.
