We arrived on time, and a very nice, young lady gave us a glass of champagne. We were shown to our table, and the waiter came to see if we would like wine, or anything else to drink. Then shortly after we had a chefs taster followed by perfectly served starters, mains, and desserts. The time between each course, was just right. We had a lovely small gift on the table, a very nice thoughtful touch.! We thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed our time at the George, the staff were lovely, and the meal and service, first class.
