Food and Service exemplary in beautiful surroundings

Lovely welcome as always - shame there was so many items not available on the menu. Always love coming but not having some items made choosing more difficult and perhaps would have had a better experience if could have had our first choices! However had a lovely time with great friends.

We were 4 diners and all had different food and they were all very tasty and well presented and served by friendly and efficient staff.

We chose the Crown as a half way meeting point with extended family, what a great choice, to start with the ambiance was beautiful and very historic, the welcome was most friendly, the service was all you could ask for, the menu was different and interesting, and the food was the with out doubt the best we have tasted for a long time, particularly at those prices ,the four of us chose differently and were all delighted with our choices , a fantastic experience, next time we are in that area we will definitely call in again, better than 5 out of 5 Graham and Sue Maddox

Lovely decor. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice choice on the menu. Food was cooked nicely 😋
