So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come. Chef Michael Scipione has created a 4-course pre-fixe menu, served in our intimate private dining room located in Mount Laurel Nj, just 15 minutes from Center City Phila.The dining room is designed to replicate a private supper club vibe, dimly lit with a 14 foot communal custom table that seats up to twelve guests for private events, with two additional tables for our restaurant seating. Chef Scipione offers handcrafted lemon ricotta gnocchi as one of his signature dishes.
