Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef Helder for breakfast, lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order. Excellent and friendly service from the staff. A nice relaxed atmosphere too. All the dishes of food were well presented and tasted delicious! We will be returning to The Wattenden Arms to enjoy their breakfast this Sunday.

The food and service were excellent - and there was live music. But it was early January and freezing cold so most people chose to stay at home so the place was virtually empty.

The restaurant now has a lovely cosy feel. Great food and service, big portions so good value, last time I had the pork belly bites for starter and they were delicious, my partner said he could just eat a whole bowl of them. This time I had the fish and chips and enjoyed it. Service all round was excellent, friendly and helpful, need to try the sunday roast next. Will definitely return and would absolutely recommend
