“A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. After 10 PM they clear all tables and chairs to create a dance floor and this place then really starts to rock! We don't do vegan or vegetarian food. We specialize in fish. Tuesdays are our LGBTQ night, but everyone is welcome. Tuesdays will now feature live jazz bands."

Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Llerena takes its name from a little village in Extremadura, southwest Spain, where four generations of our family has raised Iberian pigs since 1939, producing authentic "Bellota" jamón ibérico, chorizo and other pork delicacies. Our family created a business around the farm called Jamón y Salud to sell our gourmet products and has now brought this exquisite taste of Spain to Islington with the Llerena Ibérico Tapas Bar. Not only can you sample ibérico pork grilled meats and finest jamón, but also creamy Torta del Casar cheese and other traditional Extremadura's delights as well as the best wine from our region.
