Awesome place Great food and service everytime I never understand why it’s not packed out Attention to marketing and ambience might be the issue when looking at nearby super cool wine bars that are very modern and bright and packed out Also lose the $25 booking fee It’s very off putting and would lose a lot of potential customers

We often come here before concerts at the Town Hall. Food and service are always very good, wine list too! Our favourite dish is the Chicken Ballotine.

We've dined at WBSLSC previously (perhaps three months ago) and the food was pretty good. You let yourselves down badly as our experience on the 18th of November was pretty sorrow ful. I had average fish, very poorly battered and soggy, the salad was as limp as (and I'd rather not do the comparison), but the chips were passable! We'd brought international guests along, from Northern Ireland, and they were generous enough to suggest that they enjoyed their meal. Our local friends together with my lovely wife, were embarassed by the food. The service was good though. Portia was still there from last time and just as efficent behind the counter, and the Lass that served us, and she didn't have a name tag, was really lovely. Cared about what she was doing and the people she served. If you want us back though, improve the food. Try emulating the quality of food served at the Warradale Hotel. Each time we have visited we have been really impressed with the outstanding food and the service from our waitress was first class. The night time view over the parklands and southern city lights is superb and parking is always available close by on South Terrace
