I had a delightful afternoon tea at Betty's Tea Room that exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was charming, with elegant decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The selection of teas was superb, perfectly complemented by freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and homemade jam. The assortment of finger sandwiches was fresh and flavorful, while the pastries, particularly the chocolate macrons and were exquisite. The attentive staff provided impeccable service, making us feel truly special. Delicious treat which has become a Christmas tradition for us! I enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco and my husband chose the savoury afternoon tea with a beer. Unfortunately they had run out of ale though, so he had to be content with a Peroni. He suggested that a small sweet treat would have been nice to finish off his selection but on this occasion he stole one of mine! Thank you and happy Christmas to all.?
