We received a warm welcome from the front of house team and were shown straight to our table where we were introduced to Eve who looked after us from there on in. The menu gave us food for thought (excuse the pun) as all the choices sounded delicious. I opted for the beets and goats cheese which was light and not too filling before my main of a lamb burger with chunky chips. The burger was absolutely amazing, homemade and topped with fried halloumi and then two slices of roast lamb, all served in a brioche bun! My fellow diners all had a roast dinner (2 of them chose the sharing board which had 3 meats and they said all were cooked to perfection) and they all said how good the food was. We were helped with our wine selection by Eve who has a very good knowledge of the wines available and we opted for a Merlot, a Malbec and a pinot grigio blush all of which were excellent. We all had a dessert, my cheeseboard was fabulous and I especially enjoyed the honey that was served with it, an unusual accompaniment but perfect with all 4 of the cheeses. The restaurant was very busy but not at all noisy and the service was prompt without feeling you were being rushed in any way. Whilst it’s not a cheap meal out considering we all had 3 courses, 3 bottles of wine and after dinner liqueurs it was excellent value for money! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Terra restaurant and Tottington Manor.En savoir plusTerra Restaurant at TottingtonPrix : très cher• De la ferme à la table• Henfield•4,7

A beautiful fireplace and lovely flowers, white table clothes and real leaf tea. Lovely waitresses serving with friendly smiles. Gorgeous sandwiches, scones and cakes served beautifully. - NNinaKent •2 avis5.0Y est allé·e le 4 janv. 2025Delicious afternoon tea! Freshly made sandwiches with interesting fillings! Also freshly made warm scones. A lovely selection of cakes and as much tea and coffee as we wanted. Efficient, professional and friendly service. Everything was super clean. We were the only people in the room, a beautifully decorated and cosy room, which made it extra special. We go every year just after Christmas and it never disappoints. We will definitely be going back! 100% recommendable.En savoir plusAfternoon Tea ParlourPrix : cher• Thé d'après-midi• Hythe•4,2
- CClareBrighton •1 avis4.0Y est allé·e le 21 déc. 2024Myself and 3 friends have a very enjoyable evening on Saturday. The reason I chose The Brasserie was that it had both vegetarian and gluten free options which we needed. Unfortunately there were no gluten free buns available for the burger and also no gluten free brownie. We all felt this was very disappointing and my friend who suffers from coeliac disease only had the starter she wanted available to her. It definitely was not gluten free friendly on Saturday nightEn savoir plusThe BrasseriePrix : cher• Britannique Moderne• Tunbridge Wells•3,9
