The Coffee Room grew from a small Italian coffee shop by the same name. The aim then is the same as now: to create a warm and welcoming space where different people can come together from their local community to enjoy fantastic food and drink for a reasonable price. We build lasting relationships with local businesses and groups and aim to be more than just a coffee shop. With its riverside location and views of the iconic Tower Bridge and Tower of London, The Ivy Tower Bridge is the perfect location for guests to enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and cocktails. The restaurant also features an outdoor terrace, a bar and a private dining room on the first floor, offering tranquil relaxed yet sophisticated dining with beautiful views across the river.With interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the two-floors restaurant offers guests the choice of dining within the restaurant, enjoying the view from floor to ceiling glass windows, or outside on the Parisian-style al fresco terrace seating 50 and overlooking the River Thames.
Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar, The Lowback. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there).
There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell).
The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.
