The new Hard Rock Cafe Venice is located directly behind the main tourist attraction of the city and one of the world’s most famous squares, St. Mark’s Square, which is home to the ornately decorated St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace as well as a number of museums, shops, and cafes. Our cafe, which is located in a historic building offering 360 square meters of space, incorporates an authentic Venetian style with tasteful decor, wide windows with panoramic views of the canal, and a handmade glass chandelier hanging in the center of the restaurant and was made right here in the famous Murano glass factory. Hostaria OsottoOsopra was born from a fortuitous meeting, between the streets of Venice.With a coffee and a chat, the dream of opening a restaurant with friends seemed to really take shape for the first time.In August 2017, those that were initially only ideas are transformed into reality, within the walls of a former pub in Calle San Pantalon, a stone's throw from Campo Santa Margherita.It would not make sense to open yet another tourist place in Venice, only to then get confused among the many restaurants around the city.No, Hostaria OsottoOsopra was supposed to be something different.
It had to be a place to feel at home, where eating well in Venice became possible at a reasonable price and where the service, always in the hand but always elegant, made me want to come back.At the opening, Hosteria OsottoOsopra looked like this: with the atmosphere of a typical Venetian hostaria, but from the almost gourmet kitchen.
Each evening at 6pm, the Venice M'Art restaurant transforms into Francy's, a contemporary dining destination where tradition finds new expression. From the intimate courtyard through the storied sotoportego gallery to the spectacular Grand Canal terrace, the space transforms with soft lighting and postvenetian textiles that echo ancient tapestries. The menu celebrates this duality, ranging from reimagined Venetian classics to refined international dishes, each crafted with exceptional seasonal ingredients.
