A Sweet New Beginning: The Opening of Ace Just Desserts and Things in Kettering.In March 2020 both Shops had to shut due covid. Expantion plans were cancelled with limited opening and social distansing. The small shop Ace Coffee and Bagel unfortunatley became unviable and closed. However all activities were moved next door to Ace Creams and Tapas where it continues to this day. We acquired Ace Dining and Creams in mid-2021 and expansion plans resumed again. Ace Just Desserts and Things, located in Kettering was opened in mid-2022.

Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar, The Lowback. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell).
