Dining at The Old Deanery is an immersive experience, and you move through the building as you dine. The main event takes place in the restaurant, but forget white tablecloths and stilted service; the food may be formal but the atmosphere is not. Went for lunch today great food love the place nice to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Great service staff were great would definitely recommend

This was our first time and it certainly won’t be our last. Had a lovely birthday lunch. We chose from the lunchtime special menu which had lots of variety to choose from and is exceptionally good value. Each dish was beautifully cooked and presented (loved the added sparkler in my dessert because it was my birthday). Service was excellent, attentive but not over the top and not rushed. Ambiance for a lunchtime just after New Year was great, plenty people in which tells you what a gem it is. Thank you for making my birthday so enjoyable. When we are next in Harrogate we will certainly return.

Lovely charming and quirky old building, Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff and the food that came out of Adam Jackson’s kitchen was amazing, from the very well thought out and incredibly executed 9 course tasting menu to the beautiful breakfast. I couldn’t fault anything. Also the chef’s counter where Adam and his chef’s plate up dishes and chat to you is a lovely personable idea

The Silva Bells has become our favourite place to eat when we visit Ripon, the food is always amazing as is the service & best of all they are dog friendly so our pet Bert can come too. Try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed
