Beautiful restaurant, fantastic food great atmosphere and wonderful polite staff

We thought that the cooking was very good, the service was friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. However, given the high prices, the ambience/decor were somewhat basic and the chairs uncomfortable. the star of the performance is undoubtedly the food, with interesting combinations of flavours, very fresh and using local produce.

Excellent service and such a great place to eat. We will definitely be back.

Great location just off the A38, travelled by Motorhome and parked up overnigtht. The pub was eveything yo want from a pub, great beer, great ambience, great food and a welcoming Landlord all at an affordable price.
