The Face of 4th StreetFour amigos had a vision of bringing a high-quality & authentic Mexican experience back to Calgary – the journey began with a research trip to Guadalajara.They gathered stories & vibrant décor pieces, soaked up the sunshine & culture, sampled a lot of tequila, and finally figured out what the squiggle above the “n” was called.The result?AñejoA stunning multi-level sky-lit room, inspired & interactive Mexican cuisine, 200+ tequilas, and Calgary’s best margarita.In the landmark 4th Street Rose building, an anchor of the neighbourhood in the ’80s, the Mexican experience has been elevated to another level. Fresh, locally grown ingredients, cooked to perfection in Mexican style with a flair for contemporary flavours. Vibrant, boisterous, and bold.
South Block is a North-Carolina inspired BBQ hall and brewery on the edge of Mission, in Calgary. Upstairs you’ll find a large dining room, 20-seat bar, and a year-round indoor/outdoor beer garden. Downstairs hosts our stage, live music hall, and brewerey – where we brew our entire draft lineup from classic staples like our Pilsner, Lager, and IPAs, to our unique seasonal Peach Bourbon Ale and Mango Wheat Ale.Behind the bar, we run a hand-crafted cocktail program and offer a whiskey list of over 200 varietals, including American, Canadian, Irish, Scottish, and Japanese whiskeys.However, the biggest draw has to be our slow-smoked barbecue menu. Inspired by the flavours of North Carolina, our team arrives early every morning to smoke our famous brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and more for up to 14 hours.
