Volta is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located at the heart of Burton Road in West Didsbury. We serve a menu of small plates inspired by international travels. You can eat & drink on our cosy terrace to the front or enjoy the chic decor and vintage bistro style ambience inside.Please note, on Sundays we serve our Sunday roast menu.Our outside covered terrace offers heaters and a covered canopy, hosting the full range of drinks and food.

Whilst the dishes on our menu can be found across North India, the way of cooking is specifically from the Delhi region which makes it truly unique.The carefully curated menu aims to reflect the traditional and modern sides of Delhi and presents some of our most loved dishes.For us Dilli is an emotion and is perfectly summed up by the famous saying “Dilli dil waalon ki,” Delhi belongs to the big-hearted!

We specialise in Chinese and Thai cuisine with our extensive menu including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.We have a great selection of drinks including cocktails, mocktails, beers, spirits and soft drinks.Please note when booking: Please count baby’s/children as guests or if you require space for a pram and put a note within the booking request section. For tables of 5 or more, we would charge a deposit of £10 per person and then this will be removed off the bill, if the entire party arrives. For no shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to a charge of £20 per person that will be applied to the credit card on file.
Influenced by the late night dives of lower east side New York, PUBLIC is the latest opening on the square. Open every day 'til late, we've got cold beers, cocktails, natural wines and a food menu filled with Chinatown-inspired bangers. As well as the interiors filled with local artists and good energy, we've got plenty of seats outside on the sunny side of the square. We're walk-ins only with the exception of Bottomless Brunch every weekend 12-5pm.
