The Albion est un joyau géorgien depuis l'époque où Islington était constitué de champs et de terres agricoles, et où les habitués faisaient une promenade hors de la ville l'après-midi pour leur rendre visite. Dans le fond du jardin se tient une ancienne grange qui était autrefois un bar, et la rumeur est que les Sex Pistols ont joué leur premier concert dans cette grange. À l'intérieur, le feu de bois crée une ambiance agréable et chaleureuse pendant les mois froids, où vous pouvez prendre un verre ou un repas, à la fois dans leur salle à manger ou au bar. Le lieu est surtout fréquenté par des habitués de la région accompagnés de leurs chiens. De l'eau et des biscuits sont offerts gratuitement aux chiens visiteurs. Une de leur spécialités est un rôti de cochon de lait entier avec tous les accompagnements (carottes et légumes verts au beurre, pommes de terre rôties, sauce et sauce aux pommes).

It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. It now boasts a beautiful 60 cover dining room, which opens onto an open 20 cover cobbled courtyard with olive trees as well as an intimate private dining room. Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table.
