C'est ici, à Merrick Place, que Milam et son époux, Mr. Johnson, ont entraîné le célèbre Exterminator, vainqueur du Kentucky Derby de 1918. C'est également ici que Tut Tut, Komuraski, Commodore, Brown Wisdom, Miss Joy, Milkmaid, McKee et Dust Flower ont débuté leur carrière vers la gloire et la fortune.
