The Inn is within driving distance of Settle, Clitheroe and Skipton for those wanting to visit a typical market town; lots of country clothing shops, antique stalls and cafes. Higher Ground is a bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers. Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. Another visit to this fantastic restaurant. It was for my sisters birthday. Four of us dined at lunchtime and the food was outstanding 👌 Well done Chef Doug and his amazing team 👏 Great to see a helicopter landing and the occupants popping in for lunch.

Honestly the most amazing food i’ve ever had, the service was so speedy and welcoming!! the atmosphere was great and god don’t get me started on the focaccia, it was DIVINE!! This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester 100%

Excellent location and setting restraint lovely and beautiful fresh hot food. Reception staff and restaurant manager well helpful and polite. Highly recommend will definitely return.

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The pub is simply stunning and we received a really warm welcome from the lady behind the bar. Our food was excellent, one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. There’s a real attention to quality and flavour, which shines through in every dish. We loved spending a Saturday afternoon in front of the fire, with delightful food and wine - we can’t wait to return!
