Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. Honestly the most amazing food i’ve ever had, the service was so speedy and welcoming!! the atmosphere was great and god don’t get me started on the focaccia, it was DIVINE!! This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester 100%

Lovely meals, however would have been 5 stars if the veg had been hot. Also we had the food brought to table but had to ask for cutlery. All that said it was still very nice and we would definitely go again.

Quiet and elegant dining room overlooking the hotel's extensive gardens, with views down to the lake. The menu is traditional British. All the dishes were very nicely presented and the food was to a high standard. An unusual addition to the table was a small freshly baked loaf, cut into four and served hot in a small pot. Delicious with the olive oil and balsamic dip that is served with it. There is a an extensive wine lost to compliment the meal. It was an enjoyable experience!
