Cinnamon Gardens in Colombo 7, Sri Lanka, is a region named after the plantations that over 100 years ago, covered the land and produced the world’s finest cinnamon. Today, this affluent area is better known for its beauty and natural purities aligned with stylish cafes, galleries and wonderful street-food.With family and a history in Colombo, our aim is to bring a taste of our Sri Lankan heritage to Buckinghamshire, England through our unique menu based upon old family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available. The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.
