The French Quarter is a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant & wine Bar in a community of unique and quirky businesses in Newcastle city Centre. We are a friendly and approachable team of people, with a passion for the good things in life. Born from nostalgia for a traditional style of commerce and a desire to challenge perceptions that French dining is formal or fussy, we work with independent suppliers to offer a regularly changing wine list & tapas style menu. We have created a casual and sociable environment where customers are invited to experience our food, try our wines, shop from our deli and share our love of all things French!
I’m so excited to announce the second restaurant in partnership with hotel giant Melia, is Gino D’Acampo Quayside. It’s a beautiful light, open plan restaurant with floor to ceiling windows that lets the natural light flood it – it’s a real mood booster. That’s not all, we also have a huge contemporary terrace overlooking the iconic River Tyne, I can’t wait for you to see it.Serving real Italian food as it should be, the menu really does have something for everyone. Check out my new lounge bar as well, it serves one of the biggest selections of Prosecco, sparkling wine and Franciacorta in the UK, with over 30 varieties for you to choose from. Pop by for a drink after work or enjoy one or two while you dine, the choice is yours.Buon Appetito.Gino
