Albert's is a neighbourhood wine bar nestled behind the heritage listed Kings Arcade in the leafy backstreets of Armadale. Our bar is named for the Australian artist, Albert Tucker who once resided in the area and more importantly depicted our beautiful 19th century building in his 1937 landscape.We offer an ever-changing list of exciting wines by authentic small batch producers from all over the world, along with many classic 'non-wine' drinking options. Don’t expect a traditional restaurant menu, our kitchen offers up a variety of smaller, seasonal plates that are designed to share.     Nice atmosphere and comfortable booth seating. Menu is small but reasonably varied although would have liked additional salad options (there is only 1) To be honest the food was ok without being outstanding - for the price I would have expected a slightly better food experience. Good sized serves - enough that we couldn't fit dessert in......Steak was perfectly cooked but would have liked a choice of sauces. My partner had the kangaroo which was quite chewy though seemed to be perfectly cooked (med rare) The sides were the best part of the meal. Crunchy roast potatoes and a nice zucchini salad.

    Had dinner here on a Tuesday night. Food exceeded my expectations and overall a really nice spot for a drink/meal, particularly when the weather is nice and you are able to sit at a table outside. Recommend
