The cuisine at Drusie and Darr by Jean-Georges reflects a passionate commitment to fresh, organic and local ingredients. The restaurant’s modern American menu changes with the seasons, focusing on artisanal and sustainable produce at its peak. Meat, fish and dairy are locally sourced, where possible, from humanely treated, pasture-fed animals free of antibiotics and hormones. In addition to offering the freshest and finest dishes, the design of Drusie and Darr features preserved 1902 Beaux-Arts details such as vaulted ceilings, original oak walls, and a partially open kitchen with modern twists and custom furniture by Thomas Juul-Hansen.
417 Union is a place where great food drives an ongoing celebration of vibrant community and rich history. We are currently first come first served. We serve classic American fare with an emphasis on Southern traditions. Like many of our favorite Southern cooks who came before us, we are inspired to build on this culinary foundation with new innovations every season. We are proud to bring a variety of fresh, high-quality food to the Nashville community, as we have for eleven years and counting. We love to draw on the bounty of ingredients produced in Middle Tennessee, and we buy local whenever possible. Nashville bakery Provence provides all our sandwich breads, and our famous house blend coffee is fair trade and organic.
