Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere.
Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.
Since opening its doors in 2021, The Smoke Pit offers a casual dining experience, serving up authentic-style Texas BBQ in a buzzing and vibrant atmosphere. They pride themselves on using local, organic, and free-range produce and smoke their beef and pork products onsite in our mammoth off-set smoker for a minimum of 12 hours to ensure a superior quality and flavour profile in every bite. St Georges is the student training restaurant located at Melbourne Polytechnic's Preston Campus. St Georges focuses on providing the opportunity for our students to showcase their skills under the supervision of Victoria’s leading professional trainers. The restaurant caters for up to 100 guests. Private functions are available on request
