The Blind Busker takes its name from a local man ‘Blind Harry Vowles’ who frequented the pub back in 1900’s, he and others were often seen playing accordion’s and other musical instruments beneath the Angel of Peace statue; these folk were known as the ‘Brighton Characters’We have a beautiful garden and an area for functions, not to mention our projector for all the big sporting events.
Black Mocha is a modern independently run cafe by locals Heather and Paul Smith in the bustling bohemian North Laine area of Brighton offering locally roasted single origin coffee, brunch, sandwiches and snacks, gluten free bakes and vegan raw cakes.
