You cannot be over-dressed for this occasion! The concept of afternoon tea was originated by a Duchess in England who wanted a small meal in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. This mid-afternoon meal was shared with her friends and was a moment of peaceful civility. Now it’s your turn to have this precious respite.
