A lot of hard labour ensued to create their vision of showcasing the best qualities of a modern pub; seamlessly combining carefully sourced, sophisticated yet familiar food and drink in a welcoming authentic pub environment. Superb meal, pre Christmas lunch for 2, prawn crudo, lobster thermidor, skinny fries and chestnut sprouts. Poached pear with ginger was a delight too. If you really enjoy a place, it automatically has value. Wine list takes a great alternate path, loved the chilled Pinot from Languedoc We’ll be back

Please open up in the Lake District. It’s just too far to come in for breakfast or lunch from here every day …… as always high quality food, fantastic staff and the best views and ambience. 🤗
