We are a multiple award winning restaurant, first opening our doors in Edinburgh in 2009. Whether it’s the blast of warmth that welcomes you as you step off the plane, the guitarist in that bustling side street bar you chanced upon or the very last meal of your trip, we wanted to create an atmosphere in Tapa that was evocative of our most vibrant memories of Spain!From Michelin starred restaurants in Madrid to roadside cafes in Sanlúcar de Barrameda we celebrate the incredibly diverse range of ingredients and stunning dishes that we’ve experienced on our travels through Spain by placing an emphasis on small, artisanal Spanish producers and ingredients almost impossible to source out with Spain.This is our experience of Spain and we look forward to sharing it with you very soon!
Situated on the eighth floor of the Port of Leith Distillery, the Bar contains some of the finest and most exciting new wave whiskies from Scotland and around the world.With stunning views of Edinburgh, Leith and the Firth of Forth, the 200-bottle double-height back bar is intended to invite discovery and enlightenment at the sheer wonder and variety of global whisky alchemy.Much like the whisky the distillery seeks to create, everything else the bar has to offer is inspired by the provenance of the Forth Valley, and Leith’s rich food and drink heritage.With a seasonally inspired food menu of local and indigenous ingredients, Head Chef Patrick and his team, combine classic and modern techniques, championing the best of Scotland’s farmers and produce.We look forward to welcoming you in for a dram. Our Kitchen closes at 9:30pm Tuesday - Saturday and 7:30pm Sunday - Monday. Our Bar Snacks menu runs all night.

Mimi’s Bakehouse is a second-generation family business established in Edinburgh in 2010, when Michelle Phillips sold her family home to open a bakery café in Leith. We have gone on to build a local success story brand that gives people a ‘hug when they walk in the door’ as the original café has since doubled in size and the business has gained five more shops, a successful website selling cakes online and a concession at Archerfield Walled Garden. We also opened an industrial bakery in March 2020, out of which most online trade is produced for fulfilment. Mimi’s Bakehouse has become one of Edinburgh’s best-loved bakeries and an award-winning brand which is a well-known “feel good” place to visit, while remaining small enough to go the extra mile and try new things.We serve brunch, afternoon tea, coffee and cake.
