This long-established restaurant in Ealing is known affectionately by its customers as “Mrs Chow’s” in homage to the lady in charge of the cooking, who believes in using fresh, natural ingredients. Feeling adventurous? Swap sesame prawn toast for “shredded jellyfish with three delicacies” or “frog’s leg in black bean sauce”. If not, don’t worry – you’ll do just as well with traditional starters like satay chicken or sweet-and-sour won ton. Follow with aromatic duck, a classic of its kind with crisp golden skin and tender meat, or push the boat out with a whole lobster, halved and served with ginger and spring onion sauce. Great welcome. Easy parking. Service a little slow but we got there in the end. Nobody asked if we wanted more drinks. Nobody checked in on us once our server had finished his shift. We were abruptly told the pub closes in 10 mins and rushed out. A slightly longer notice would have been l appropriate. Blue light card no longer accepted. Website still under maintenance. Little frustrating experience but the food was good with excellent portion size.

Its my local restaurant and have been going for many years food is always fresh hot and flavourful. Highly recommend starters Beans whick is cooked in a very light tempura batter, duck with pancakes,spring rolls.prawn toast,ribs and seaweed. Buy individual portions not the platter.
