Sur la High Street, il vous suffira de repérer un hall tout en verre pour comprendre que vous êtes arrivé au Quod restaurant, le véritable sanctuaire du Hold Bank Hotel, avec son bar et sa terrasse spectaculaire. Cet ancien hall de banque à été transformé par le propriétaire Jeremy Mogford, qui en a fait le plus grand et le plus réputé des restaurants d’Oxford. Son décor est élégant et contemporain. L’espace est harmonieusement optimisé et abrite une incroyable collection d’art contemporain, dont les oeuvres de Sandra Blow, de Craigie Aitchinson et de Gary Hume, qui ornent magnifiquement les murs. La terrasse chauffée est exceptionnelle.
