The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. L’accueil était globalement chaleureux, mais une partie du personnel s’est montré très froid. Mention spéciale au serveur qui nous a servi le champagne : il ne nous a ni regardés, ni salués, et n’a échangé aucun mot, ce qui a terni l’expérience. Côté nourriture, c’était très satisfaisant dans l’ensemble, hormis la pâtisserie qui était trop gélatineuse à mon goût. Malgré ces points négatifs, nous avons tout de même passé un bon moment.

Première fois que j’y vais pour l’anniversaire d’une amie, le service et la qualité de la nourriture était vraiment au rendez vous; tout comme l’ambiance au bar. J’y retournerai

Un cadre exceptionnel et une decoration avec beaucoup de gout et d'originalité. Le service est excellent (merci Adam!) et la nourriture est pleine de saveur. Une excellente adresse pour celui ou celle qui veut retrouver la péninsule ibérique a Londres dans un cadre exceptionnel.
