Loudons Café & Bakery serves Scottish and continental delicacies from its location at 94B Fountainbridge. Burgers, quiche, soup and pancakes, as well as a vast selection of cakes feature on a menu where most items are made on site and ingredients are locally sourced. The Blackbird Bar and Restaurant, at 37-39 Leven Street in the Bruntsfield area of south-west Edinburgh, serves modern Scottish cuisine. It is located close to The Meadows public park, less than 10 minutes by car or taxi from Waverley and Haymarket Railway Stations; Edinburgh Castle and the city centre are around 20 minutes' walk away. The exposed stone walls of its traditional, tavern-like interior give it an authentically Scottish atmosphere and it also has a beer garden in which to enjoy an al fresco drink or bite to eat in the warmer summer months. Exceptional food. Sea food linguine was amazing, lasagne delightful and the mussels were made to our taste. Could not fault it.

Me and a a friend needed somewhere to go before seeing a show at the Churchill theatre, with lots of places booked up we got a table here. The food and service was absolutely excellent can’t fault it , we just wish we had more time to enjoy it a bit more! Will defiantly be back!!!
