FREA ist das erste 100% pflanzenbasierte Restaurant, welches bewusst auf Plastikverpackungen verzichtet. Alle angebotenen Lebensmittel kommen aus nachhaltigem ökologischen Anbau. Alle Zutaten der Gerichte, werden bei FREA verarbeitet und zu kreativen und leckeren Gerichten zubereitet. Unser reines Sauerteigbrot kommt aus der hauseigenen FREA Bakery. Die Reste die nicht mehr weiterverarbeitet werden können, landen in der hauseigenen Kompostiermaschine (Gersi). FULL TASTE, ZERO WASTE, das ist wofür FREA steht.
Unser Motto ist ganz einfach: Kreativ mit Klassikern umgehen.
So entstehen neben dem klassischen Wiener Schnitzel und den Deutschen Tapas Kreationen wie das vegane Austernpilz-Schnitzel, ein gesottenes Schnitzel oder auch Fisch als Schnitzel. Bei der Auswahl der Produkte wird stark auf Regionalität und/oder artgerechte Tierhaltung geachtet.
Über den Marktplatz, ein paar Stufen runter, direkt an der Spree versteckt sich das Katerschmaus. Vor Anker festgemacht ist die wie ein Dampfer anmutende Bar das Zentrum des Restaurants. Dann geht’s in die edel ausgestattete Stoffklasse oder etwas rustikaler in unsere Holzklasse - Blick auf das Wasser inklusive.
