La cuisine cambodgienne est superbe et délicieuse, mais encore méconnue aux États-Unis. Moins piquante et sucrée que la thaïlandaise, plus riche et complexe que la vietnamienne, les pâtes d'épices délicates qui sont à la base de nombreux plats cambodgiens reflètent l'ascendance indienne du Cambodge (mais utilisent des épices fraîches plutôt que des épices séchées). Les sélections cambodgiennes et françaises du menu englobent à la fois des plats traditionnels et originaux créés par la chef Nadsa de Monteiro. Ayant grandi à Phnom Penh, elle sait parler le cambodgien et le français, et a par la suite vécu en France pendant de nombreuses années. Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We can accommodate parties of up to six guests on weekends, and parties of up to twelve guests Wednesday through Friday.We serve a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions from around the world and of various styles.
