James Beard Award-winning Chef Andrew Black makes his way back to Skirvin Hotel to open his newest restaurant concept, Perle Mesta. The restaurant will be his first concept to open since winning a James Beard award as 2023’s Best Chef Southwest and will be located on the first floor of the historic Skirvin Hotel (One Park Avenue, Oklahoma City). Perle Mesta will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner service and the cuisine will reflect Chef Black’s continued exploration of what he calls “possibility cuisine,” a concept he attributes to his style of cooking that explores and embraces the endless possibilities of ingredients, flavors, techniques, and cultural influences. In this context, possibility cuisine involves chefs pushing the boundaries of traditional cooking and experimenting with unconventional ingredients, fusion cuisine, molecular gastronomy, or avant-garde techniques. It may involve a sense of creativity, innovation, and openness to exploring new culinary horizons.
Seating is first come, first served. Located in the First National Center, The Library holds an extensive collection of rare & fine spirits, deep knowledge of classic cocktails, and exotic drinks crafted with the finest spirits and house-made ingredients. The Library’s curated spirits selection highlights the rich history of making liquor from fermentation through distillation, aging, and blending. Enjoy your selections neat, on the rocks, or mixed into a classic cocktail.
Join us for a high-end, eclectic dining experience curated by executive chef Eric Smith where you can enjoy a selection of sushi, International entrees, and decadent desserts. Don't forget to try our hand crafted cocktails, carefully selected wine, or cold sake by the carafe or bottle.We feature a Happy Hour Tuesday-Thursday from 3-5 pm. Friday and Saturday Dinner service starts at 5, but feel free to join us for a drink starting at 3pm. For parties of 6 or more, please call the restaurant during business hours and we would be happy to assist you.Please be aware that we allow parties of 4 or less an hour and a half time-slot on reservations. If you are looking for a longer stay with us, please call the restaurant and we will arrange your stay to fit your needs. Outside food and drinks are not permitted in the restaurant.
