Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Absolutely gorgeous pub with great food selection. As it was near Christmas they had great festive options, including drinks! Staff couldn’t do anymore and we all really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back
